Rangeland Stewardship Council (RSC) is an international organisation dedicated to advancing the sustainable management of global rangelands. Recognising the crucial role rangelands play in supporting biodiversity, human livelihoods, and climate resilience, the RSC aims to address the significant threats facing these ecosystems.
The organisation’s mission is to develop a unified global standard for responsible rangeland management. This comprehensive standard encompasses core principles including herder representation, traceability, carbon sequestration, culturally attentive practices, human health and wellbeing initiatives, animal welfare standards, gender equality support, and land management strategies.
By establishing a sustainable framework that harmonises environmental, social, and economic considerations, the RSC aims to inspire and reward exemplary rangeland management practices that benefit ecosystems and communities worldwide.
The team at Rangeland Stewardship Council (RSC) approached us with the proposal to design a from-the-ground-up website for what at the time was a brand-new organisation. They had pre-existing experience in sustainability, and already had events and partnerships lined up. Because of this, they were on the clock with making sure they had a live website ready to view.
Our Mission: To create a from-the-ground-up secure website for RSC, displaying resources and information to the public through a design that well reflects the company’s values. As well as this, we were tasked with integrating an RSC Portal with selective access for registered members to navigate.
This task involved a mix of competitor research, web-design, stakeholder communication and technical optimisation.
At the time of this update, RSC now functions as a registered organisation with a complete malware-protected website and online membership portal.
All company related information, contact details, and interactive elements are fully available.
The site is technically optimised to run smoothly without hiccups and acts as a central source of information and reach for the organisation.
External plugins have been integrated into the website in order to be realise the vision that RSC came to us with.
The website is fully cloud-supported as a contingency should this need to be used.

eCactus is the global brand of Jiangsu Weiheng intelligent technology (among China’s top 10 battery manufacturers). Their profile is rising fast due to high technical specifications and product reliability.
The marketing agreement with OOTBI is with eCactus Solar, a UK based distributor. eCactus Solar supplies advanced hybrid inverters/batteries to wholesalers, regional distributors and installers.
- The eCactus Agave is the next generation of hybrid inverter/battery.
- Batteries established in Germany, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.

eCactus Solar is available to answer customers’ questions and offer assistance in setting up their products. eCactus Solar also have comprehensive warranty plans and after-sales to ensure customers receive the best value for their investment.
Freshly incorporated at the end of July 2022, eCactus Solar secured exclusive importing rights into the UK market towards the end of 2022.
They came to us as a complete start-up but, at the same time, had access to branding and promotional materials from their Chinese manufacturers. (Thanks to Nichole, Ottmar and the team for their assistance so far.)
They needed a website, social media pages, a marketing plan, data mining for leads, an email marketing sequence, text and verbal communication templates, PowerPoint presentations, and – everything.
We agreed to a deal a few days before Christmas and expected a UK visit from the WeiHeng Chinese executive team in the first half of January!
The pressure was on, and it really helped us to realise the amount of work that goes into launching a Startup. Usually, we would take on a web design task, or search engine optimisation, creating a marketing pan and then executing it while still working on the plan was a first – we had no time to wait.
Getting a contract like this a few days before Christmas spoiled some R+R plans for Jason, our MD.
OOTBI managed to hire four new staff members, go live on their website, create business cards, different sales decks, some data mining and more… By the time we came back after New Year!
We completed all the initial work on time, and by the middle of February, we had emailed around 600 potential clients and secured about 20 fresh leads. Due to some SEO and link building, we’re on page one of Google for relevant searches alongside the parent company.
The owners of eCactus Solar UK were so impressed with our work that they offered a directorship to Jason, now Marketing Director. Here’s Jason meeting the executive delegation on their visit.

Energy Store UK

Energy Store have been providing solar power solutions for residential, commercial, school, and healthcare organisations for the past five years. In the last year or so, they have helped five healthcare organisations in Devon. They’ve helped with the successful and trouble-free installation of PV solar panels for:
- NHS Westbank Practice in Starcross.
- The Chagford Health Center.
- Exminster Surgery.
- The Barton Surgery in Dawlish.
- The HartSWell lodge is in Plymouth.
In addition to healthcare, Energy Store has installed energy-saving solar panels at several schools, including Roselands County Primary in Paignton and Shiphay School in Torquay.
After growing steadily over five years, during a boom period for solar power, the Energy Store website needed updating. The team at Energy Store had gone from a plucky start with plenty of determination to a growing concern with an excellent reputation.
The existing website was well designed but was fairly generic. Stock photos were used, and overall, the values and passion of the team were not displayed to their full extent.
Another concern was that the team was so busy with surveys, installations, and after-sales that they had little time to work on marketing, branding, sales support, and other building blocks for future growth.
Most companies get to the stage where they are ready to “level up,” and it almost involves re-imagining and re-iterating everything. They had just moved into a larger building and needed to look at sign writing, but they have never been that happy with their logo. New work clothes needed to be purchased, but would they be in the old company colors?
First, we created a new branding, logo, style, and feel. We had a mission to move from “local” to corporate, which represented the expansion across the UK and the increase in school, healthcare, holiday parks, and other high-profile installations.
We performed competitor research to identify what is working for the competition and, more importantly, what the national leading solar companies are doing that the local and regional ones are not.
We were able to create a marketing plan and competitive gap analysis data to show what Energy Store needed to do to bridge the gap between themselves and the national leaders.
We completed a new WordPress website with a smart design that would not look out of place in a review with any of the leading companies. We replicated the current content, added fresh content, but most importantly, used real photos and videos of work by the team.

Sustainable Fibre Alliance

The Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) is a non-profit standard holding and membership organisation. SFA represent a global alliance of supply chain actors, stakeholders and industry experts with a mission to ensure the long-term viability of the cashmere sector.
The SFA aims to minimise the environmental impact of cashmere, safeguard livelihoods and ensure high animal welfare standards. They work with the end-to-end supply chain, connecting livestock herders to brands and retailers in the global fashion industry.
We already had a pre-existing relationship with Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) through the work that we created for their sister site, Rangeland Stewardship Council. The team came to us with the task of fixing their pre-existing website, Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA). The website was outdated, plagued with malware, and needed updates across a wide array of facets.
Our Mission: To completely audit the site and resolve all broken functions, fix website speed and performance issues, and clean of all viruses.
In order to do this, we first migrated the website over from one web-builder managing platform over to another.
As of now, Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) is completely free of all malware/viruses, all broken design elements and broken pages have been fixed, previously outdated plugins have been updated to prevent site crashes and improve speed, and general speed and performance has been optimised.
In addition to this, security hardening measures have been implemented to prevent future issues occurring.

Setters are trusted partners of the largest and most innovative companies across high-risk sectors. Recent clients include National Grid, United Utilities, UK Power Networks and British Sugar. They are leaders in safety performance improvement driven for over 30 years by the conviction that no one should be harmed through work.
Setter & Associates was established in February 1993 to provide companies in high-risk industries with health, safety, environmental and quality (SHEQ) services. They have three main offerings: Training, Consulting and Cultural development.
For nearly 30 years, setters have run in-person safety and productivity events and workshops for large corporations and critical infrastructure organisations. Most of setters clients are FTSE 100 companies involved in infrastructure, utilities, energy, power, manufacturing and raw materials.
In 2019, a plan was underway to update IT and administration, become a hybrid (office and remote) organisation, complete rebranding AND a succession plan to pass the reins from Graham Setter to his son Matthew.
Initially, OOTBI was invited to assist with digitalising the legacy database and reporting system, moving it from office-based with limited user access with the current Microsoft Access to cloud-based in a bespoke platform with more than ten different user access dashboards.
We also consulted regarding the practicalities of the succession business model change as it was being created. The hierarchical business model was being replaced by a flat organisation called The +people Partnership, where highly experienced SHEQ professionals would join as partners and head up each client programme.
OOTBI started consulting, designing and planning the new cloud database and access system in December 2019. The first substantial work scope was authorised in January 2020, and software programming commenced in February. Then COVID hit…
The brick-and-mortar office needed to close due to government guidelines. Staff were furloughed, and client contracts were cancelled or delayed due to general uncertainty. 2020 was going to be the year of cloud digitalisation, rebranding, a new company, and a succession plan, which was already a monumental task. The plans to become remote and move the office to the cloud became urgent.
Fast forward to the end of 2023, at the time of this update, and we are proud to tell you that we are still working with The +people Partnership. We helped turn a 30-year organisation into a fully remote one, drastically slashing overheads.
We worked with the +People Partnership and accessed the Welsh Government’s SMART Innovation (SMART Cymru) Funding Programme and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to create a cloud-based bespoke business platform. Due to our cloud platform (and MS Office 365), a physical business location was no longer required.
The platform houses all course and event data and associated materials with comprehensive functionality, including a learning management system (LMS) with multimedia outputs. We have helped them create interactive self-learning and coach-assisted courses. We also assisted with other tasks such as designing and developing brochures, presentations, adverts, flyers, a new website, smart apps, and Excel solutions.

Formerly known as the separate companies Naurex and Petrolis, Capefront Energies has merged their expertise to provide comprehensive solutions internationally.
They are committed to building solid partnerships between clients and experts in order to create the ideal conditions for building a greener future.
Their network boasts over 30,000 professionals covering a vast array of 140 skills and specialties. They ensure access to the precise expertise required for projects in renewable and fossil energies, power generation, and water treatment throughout a project’s entire value chain.
The team at Capefront came back to us to rebuild their website, which had recently been created with the Drupal CMS. The result was not satisfactory, and due to ongoing bugs and glitches, it was a case of ‘back to the drawing board’ and a switch to WordPress.
We created the PetrolisGroup.com website around five years ago and have provided trouble-free hosting, backups, software updates, and minor changes.
The Petrolis Sales Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Christophe, is now the Business Unit Manager for Capefront Energies. He recommended our services to the executive team based on our past work with Petrolis.
Chris asked us to:
1) Replicate the files and theme of petrolisgroup.com and create a duplicate for Capefront.com in a similar style.
2) Update the branding to reflect the current brand decisions of Capefront.
3) Work with their internal marketing department to fine-tune every page for branding, style, content, and new features.
4) Ensure that the structural integrity of the new site is sound and that speed, security, and SEO are preserved and optimised.
First we created a staging site using a duplicate of the Petrolis template and files. We gave access to everyone working on the site, from the OOTBI and Capefront side. This meant that we were all able to fine tune and give feedback during the rebuild process. Anyone could see something and either fix it, or report it.
To avoid ‘too many cooks spoiling the broth’ we set up weekly planning and update calls, a wireframe and scope, and a collaboration platform where tasks can be allocated to different team members.
We all enjoyed this process, and progress was fast since there was no need to wait for feedback or improvements on either side. Actually, during the progress meetings we all felt like we were at the same company with a shared culture – even though we had a mix of British, French and Filipino team members.
We completed the rebuild in less than a month. It went live with no hitches, and we ensured that old URLs were redirected. Site speed and SEO optimisation was at a high level for an ‘out of the box’ website, and we generally polished the final result.
It’s one of the website redesigns we are most proud of, and a credit to the team members of Capefront Energies for being so helpful and easy to work with.
We also created some instructional videos to help with post creation, editing and publishing. Thats another advantage of WordPress, we can make 10 minute videos and a client can publish content themselves, even with no prior experience.

We met Saber Evnat when they were in the early startup phase. They had already installed a few jet mixers so had some evidence of product/market fit. The technology had also been fully established in the Russian market, and there were support engineers and other help there.
Saber Evnat came to us for everything they needed for a marketing campaign focusing on Europe, but also available for global opportunities.
We started with a marketing plan, where we mapped their risks, opportunities, and competitor intelligence. We worked with their executive team to create a list of marketing channels and a marketing calendar.
With so much to be done, we worked on what was most urgent or essential each month depending on their sales cycle, upcoming exhibitions and digital needs.
We were challenged to be a one-stop-shop for all marketing services, digital and physical. The work ranged from design, writing copy, research, strategy and assisting with execution of the joint plan.
We made ourselves available at short notice so that we could work with them to react to unexpected challenges and deadlines that were often unforeseen. (part and parcel of startup territory).
OOTBI optimized the new WordPress website from the perspective of design, content, SEO and user experience. As Saber Evnat made business progress, we helped proofread and edit content for the website and all sales and marketing communications.
Our marketing plan and calendar provided additional information, ideas and opportunities. Our competitor research formed a basis for the future keyword, link, citation, sponsorship and promotional avenues.

Drillers.com was originally created in 1996 and is one of the oldest oil and gas related websites in the world. It served as a technical drilling resource and jobs site – and was the very first online oil and gas recruitment site. Over the years the site has been improved and new features such as Math CAD calculators and equations were added.
Drillers.com is now owned and operated by Relentless Pursuit of Perfection Ltd. The website has been redesigned, and will now evolve so that we keep the best of the ‘old’ and add new innovative features and helpful information all designed to attract and engage with our target audience.
We’re also moving into the market of on-demand and ad hoc oil & gas services. Through the drillers.com expert and partners network, we’re building a community to serve the needs of the upstream oil & gas sector.
Recent developments include the addition of a training and events calendar, private skill pool, a regularly updated blog, and a showcase area for our new experts and partner companies.
In addition, we hope that there will be plenty of new people who see drillers.com as a valuable resource to help them in their daily work or to promote their company.
